Ellissol was born out of a passion for technology and a desire to help businesses digitize their operations. Our founder, DeSean Ellis, with extensive experience in the IT sector of the energy industry, recognised a significant need for digital transformation within organisations. He discovered, that customarily in our nation, organisations opt to buy expensive foreign-based software which meet their requirements only just enough, and then attempt costly modifications. This realization sparked a journey from general IT to specialized, requirement-driven software engineering at a reasonable cost. Thus Ellis' Solutions (Ellissol) was born.

Carmichael is adept at designing and maintaining complex GIS databases and has more than a decade of experience supporting geospatial data infrastructures in high-impact environments. Carmichael’s passion has recently led him to provide thought leadership and geospatial consulting services to organisations in the U.S. and Central America, focusing on the strategic application of ArcGIS to support decision-making and digital transformation initiatives.
